1st Confession: fallen angel

her eyes were poised with sadness

her fingers filled with tragedy

her shadows born from shame

who was she?

who had she become ...?

her fingers filled with madness

the sorrow in her eyes

her heart was still too empty

her hopes had dropped to lies

the fear was her companion

had called her soothing in

the pain had seen her ev'rything

had taught her hope and sin

____________

whoever she has seen,

whoever she has become,

this angel has fallen

and will not fly again.

Fallen Angel, where are thy wings?

Fallen Angel, where were thy dreams?

so proud have you been

so joyfull to fly

so high were your hopes

- so ready to cry ...

whoever she was

wherever she has fallen

this angel is dead now

she will not fly again

all this has happened

a long time ago

her mem'ry is fading

who would now still know ...

would thou remember her,

fallen sister ... ?

but now for this:

she will remember you

her wings were broken

her soul had died

her future forfeit

you would not remember:

dead angels go to heaven

Dead Angel then, where is thy smile

thou always used to hide thy lies ... ?

thy faith has fallen

thy heart betrayed

where are the pains

to make thou smile ... ?

Fallen Angel smile again!

there is no joy

there are no pains,

no fear left to cry -

but there is still hope.

Fall again

and cry again.

fear again.

and life will return.

be promised that -

____________

her eyes will brim with sorrow

her fingers fill to show

her heart shall live tomorrow

to birth her shades again

the pain shall be her friend

to call her soothing in

the joy will be there ev'ry time

renew her hopes and sins

the she will remember

pose with tragedy again

the shadows overflow her

this angel will fall again -

_______________

I once have known her

long ago

this angel has long since been crashed

her tears were dried

her shades forgotten

this angel will never fly

- again -

but know this:

her dreams will live forever!
